I went to Vancouver, home sweet home, on December 20th. But before I went on to the airplane, I found one of my shoes is broken. The pair of shoes is from Clark and I had it for at least four years now. It is one of my favorite pair because it is good for both skirts and pants. It's a pity that the only broken area is the inner seamline of right shoes. There is no way to repair this shoe either. I was worried that I couldn't make it home. I didn't plan to purchase a new pair of shoes early. The only other pair of shoes I have is high heel. It's impossible to wear the high heel every time I go out. The good thing is at least I have a pair of hiking boots left at home. Now just wait for boxing day to get a new pair.
I will say to the prisoners, ‘Come out in freedom,’
and to those in darkness, ‘Come into the light.’
They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures
and on hills that were previously bare.
They will neither hunger nor thirst.
The searing sun will not reach them anymore.
For the LORD in his mercy will lead them;
he will lead them beside cool waters.
